Diet can play a large role in the health of your pet. Sometimes changing your pet's diet can help treat medical problems like diabetes, urinary crystals or diarrhea to name a few. We carry both Purina and Hills veterinary diets to help your pet look and feel their best.
Our fully stocked pet specific pharmacy provides convenient access to vital medications for your pet. Dogs and cats are not small humans and many medications used to treat humans are not the best choices for your pet because they are toxic, or made in a way that makes it difficult to give to your pet. We stock medications in sizes and flavors that make it easier to administer to your pet. We also offer long acting inject-able versions of some medications so you don't have to medicate your pet at all- we'll do it for you!
We utilize Antech Diagnostics to provide a wide variety of testing for your pet. Whether your pet needs monitoring for prescription drugs, senior blood testing, serial monitoring for illness or healthy pet blood screening we can provide the panel that best meets the needs of your pet. Results are available the next day.
Our In-House Radiology unit provides quick access to vital information for your pet's care. We have the ability to take thoracic (chest), abdominal, and orthopedic x-rays. Our team can also provide advanced radiology including GI barium series to look for intestinal blockage, fistulagrams, and heart measurements. CCVH has access to ultrasound technology and a board-certified veterinary cardiologist to get the most information for your pet.
CCVH provides general wellness and infectious disease testing in-house on a routine basis. This includes heartworm testing, intestinal parasite exams, urinalysis, parvovirus testing, and Combo tests for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). More extensive testing is sent to a veterinary laboratory for review.
